Oxygen tanks have been reported to be the cause of a Gresham apartment fire leaving dozens of people without homes in the freezing weather. The fire originated from a first floor apartment and residents became aware of a fire when sounds of explosions alerted them. Firefighters were delayed as the nearest fire hydrant was frozen and had to use others nearby. Eight units were destroyed.
