From PORTLAND, Ore. – About 45 people stayed at a Red Cross shelter in Portland after they were displaced due to a fire at Hotel Alder Wednesday afternoon.
Portland Fire and Rescue tweeted just before 4 p.m. that the fire was under control. One person suffered an unknown medical condition.
The fire started at the Hotel Alder, located near Southwest 4th Avenue and Alder Street, just before 3 p.m. Wednesday, according to Portland Fire & Rescue. The fire was on multiple floors of the building.
