During an emergency situation, it’s easy to get frantic and not remember to pack essential items or know what to do next. That is why having an emergency kit and plan is so important! If you have pets- don’t forget to make a kit and plan for them too.

Having pets can change so much about your personal emergency plan. For example, places you might normally think to evacuate to may not allow pets or may allow them for an additional charge. Also, having enough food and water for them and making sure they have proper identification if you have to travel outside of your home is important to.
