It’s well known that the “big one” is overdue along the west coast. Whether it happens in our lifetime or not is unknown- but smaller earthquakes occur all the time and it’s important to be prepared.

In March 2021 a quake alert system was launched in Oregon. This tool won’t predict earthquakes but will at least alert people to take cover when it happens, which could still play a factor in saving lives.

• Non perishable foods
• Cleaning products
